FRIDAY, JULY 25, 2025

When the nation faces the reality of war, every citizen plays an essential role in defending the Thai homeland, the Second Army Region said on Friday, following the Thai-Cambodian border clash.

Its Facebook post outlined recommendations on how Thai civilians can assist the military’s success. The recommendations are as follows:

  • Support in the Right Way
Contribute essential supplies such as blood donations, medicine, or medical supplies. Avoid sending unnecessary items to prevent creating an additional burden for the authorities. Remember, everything you contribute must be “useful and practical”.

  • Use the Media Responsibly
Follow official military communication channels for updates. Do not share rumours, false news, or unverified information. Do not disclose any information regarding military movements under any circumstances.

  • Be Eyes and Ears for the Nation
Report any unusual activities immediately, whether it’s unfamiliar individuals, suspicious objects, or any irregular movements. Your quick response may help save lives and protect fellow citizens.

  • Use Resources Wisely
Reduce wasteful consumption and conserve energy, food, water, and fuel to help maintain national stability in the long term. "Security begins within our own homes."

Today, we stand united as one nation, and we will not allow anyone to harm our homeland with impunity, the page stated.

While civilians may not have weapons, we possess the strength of determination and are ready to stand beside the Thai military… until victory belongs to the nation.
